Order of the Director of Aventus Technology Limited dated 01.11.2024 of the promotional campaign titled “New Year Gifts” for users of financial services of LendPlus.
These Official Rules (hereinafter referred to as the Rules) establish the procedure and terms for conducting the promotional campaign “New Year Gifts” (hereinafter referred to as the Campaign) – a marketing event for users of financial services, which provides special lending conditions for a category of clients defined by the Rules of Aventus Technology Limited (hereinafter referred to as the Company).
Winner of the Campaign – a Participant who, in the manner provided by these Rules, has acquired the right to receive the Incentive.
- The Organizer and Executor of the Campaign is Aventus Technology Limited, a Limited Company incorporated in Kenya.
- Participation in the Campaign is free of charge, the Company does not receive compensation from Participants for their participation in the Campaign. This Campaign is not a gambling game, lottery, service in the field of gambling business, or competition, and these Rules are not a public promise of reward or conditions of a competition.
- Period of the Promotion.
3.1 The Company may change the Period of the Promotion at any stage at its own discretion, including in the event of circumstances that were not foreseen and could not have been foreseen at the date of the announcement of the Promotion, in the manner provided for in p. 8.2. of these Rules.
3.2 The total period of the Campaign, which includes all stages, from 00:00 EAT time on “01” November 2024 to 23:59 EAT time on “29” December 2024.
- Participants of the Promotion.
4.1. Conditions for participation in the Promotion:
4.1.1. Participants of the Promotion may only be adults (from 18 years old), fully capable individuals (consumers of financial services) who are citizens of Kenya and reside on its territory, except for persons defined in p. 4.1.2.
4.1.2. Employees of the Company and persons who are related to them, as well as other related persons, are not allowed to participate in the Promotion.
4.2. Special conditions for participation in the Promotion:
4.2.1. Participants of the Promotion are individuals who, from 01.11.2024 to 29.12.2024, which is included in the period of the Promotion, concluded the , repaid their loan or extended it and did not have active delinquency at the end of the promotion.
4.2.2 Clients who have a closed or active loan with an overdue payment of more than 15 calendar days, regardless of whether they have repaid the loan or not, are not allowed to participate in the Promotion.
- Consent of Participants for the collection and processing of information.
5.1. The decision to participate in the Promotion is a voluntary expression of will and is made by each potential participant personally, based on their considerations regarding participation and unconditional consent to these Rules.
5.2. By participating in the Promotion, the individual confirms:
5.2.1. their acquaintance with these Rules and guarantees their unconditional fulfillment and compliance;
5.2.2. unequivocal and irrevocable consent to the collection, processing, and dissemination of their personal data that became known to the Company, provided that the requirements of current legislation of Kenya are met;
5.2.3. acquaintance with the rights of the subject of personal data in the scope defined by the Law of Kenya Data protection act (hereinafter – the Law), and consent to their inclusion in the databases of the Company;
5.2.4. that they have been informed about the inclusion in the databases of the Company, as well as about the purpose of collecting the relevant data and the persons to whom they are transferred or may be transferred, provided that the transfer will occur in accordance with current legislation of Kenya without notification of such transfer;
5.2.5. consent to the processing of personal data is granted by the participant for the entire storage period of the relevant categories of documents/information determined in accordance with the legislation, after the termination of legal relations between the Participant and the Organizer;
5.2.6. informed about: their rights defined in the Data Protection Act, 2019, Laws of Kenya the purpose of their collection, which consists of providing services by the Organizer to the Participant, as well as carrying out other activities by the Organizer in accordance with the requirements and in the manner defined by current legislation of Kenya, including but not limited to, the publication (notification) of the results of participation in the draws and promotions of the Organizer; the owner of personal data; the composition and content of the collected personal data; the persons to whom personal data is transferred and that the transfer of personal data can be carried out only in accordance with the Data Protection Act, 2019.
- Conditions for conducting the Promotion.
6.1. The period of the Promotion is defined in paragraph. 3.2. of these Rules.
6.2. The Promotion is understood as the conduct of events that includes the conclusion by the Participants of the Promotion of a https://lendplus.ke/terms-and-conditions/ for the product during the conduct of the Promotion (from 01.11.2024 to 29.12.2024).
- Determination of winners. Announcement of results.
7.1 The Company will determine and record among the Participants a list in which the Participant under the corresponding number will have the opportunity to receive the Incentive. The Company guarantees the objectivity of selecting Participants who will receive the Incentive by limiting the interference of third parties in the process of their determination.
7.2 The Company will notify about the results of the Promotion by publishing a record on Social Networks, on the Company’s Website, as well as by making a phone call and/or sending a message to Participants who have the opportunity to receive the Incentive.
7.3 The draw will be held on December 30, 2024.

7.4 The announcement of the results of the promotion will take place no later than the next working day from the date of the draw specified in p. 7.3. of the Rules. Notification of the Winners will be made within 5 (five) working days from the date of the announcement of the results.
- Conditions and procedure for receiving Incentives.
8.1. After the procedure for determining the Winners of the Promotion, in accordance with section 6 of these Rules, the Organizer informs the Winner of the Promotion in the manner and within the timeframes provided by the Rules. Notification occurs from 09:00 to 18:00 EAT time on working days.
8.2. The Winner of the Promotion within 10 (ten) calendar days from receipt of notification of winnings must confirm to the Organizer/Executor of the Promotion their personal data, namely: surname, first name, patronymic; series and number of the for a Citizen of Kenya (or other document that certifies identity); and, if necessary and at the request of the Organizer, send to the Company at the email address customer@lendplus.ke or to the email address provided separately, copies of all pages of their ID. When sending copies of documents, the Participant must indicate in the subject of the email: “New Year Gifts”. The specified documents must be clear and legible. The responsibility for the accuracy of the provided data lies with the Winner of the Promotion.
8.3. By receiving the Incentive, the Winner of the Promotion grants consent to the Organizer/Executor for any lawful use by the Organizer/Executor of information regarding their participation in the Promotion and receipt of the Incentive.
8.4. The refusal of the Winner to receive the Incentive, refusal to provide copies of the documents specified in p. 8.2. of these Rules, as well as the provision of documents later than the specified deadline or the provision of documents that have signs of forgery or are inaccurate, deprives the Winner of the Promotion of the right to receive the Incentive; refusal to receive, signing the Act, not submitting such an act to the Organizer of the Promotion, etc. is considered a refusal of the Winner of the Promotion to receive the Incentive. Any claims of the Winner of the Promotion in this regard are not accepted and not considered by the Organizer and/or Executor.
8.5. If the Winner of the Promotion does not fulfill the Conditions specified in p. 8.2. of the Rules at the request of the Organizer within 10 (ten) calendar days from the date of notification by the Organizer about the possibility of receiving the incentive, they lose the right to receive the Incentive.
8.6. After confirming the personal data and providing the Winner of the Promotion with all the documents specified in p. 8.2. of the Rules, the Organizer/Executor of the Promotion agrees on the details of handing over the Incentive with the Winner of the Promotion within 25 (twenty-five) days after the date of determining the winners.
8.7. To receive the Incentive, the Winner of the Promotion undertakes to sign the relevant acceptance act in the following manner:
8.7.1. Arrive at the Organizer at their location and sign the relevant acceptance act. In this case, the Winner of the Promotion provides the Organizer with properly certified copies of the documents specified in p. 8.2. of these Rules (according to the original, full name, signature);
8.7.2. Sign the relevant acceptance act received by means of postal communication and send the signed second copy to the Organizer, along with copies of the documents specified in p. 8.2. of these Rules, properly certified (according to the original, full name, signature), no later than the date of receiving the Incentive.
8.8. Strict adherence to all conditions of these Rules and the provision of all required documents is a necessary condition for receiving the Incentive. Failure to comply with any conditions provided by these Rules deprives the Winner of the Promotion of the right to receive the Incentive due to them. In this case, the Winner of the Promotion is considered to have refused to receive the relevant Incentive of the Promotion and has no right to receive any compensation from the Organizer of the Promotion.
8.9. The Incentive is received only by the Winner of the Promotion who has the right to receive it in accordance with the conditions of these Rules and exclusively in the manner established by these Rules. In the event that the Winner of the Promotion for any reason cannot receive the Incentive in person, such a Participant of the Promotion does not have the right to inherit, transfer, or otherwise alienate their right to receive the Incentive to any third party.
- Other conditions.
9.1. Information regarding the Rules and conditions of the Promotion is provided by posting the Rules on the official website of the Company https://lendplus.ke as well as by phone: 0709-029-000 (the cost of the call according to the operators’ tariffs).
9.2 The Organizer has the right to change/add to the Rules of the Promotion throughout the entire Period of the Promotion, including to terminate it early or extend the validity period, by posting information about this on the website https://lendplus.ke Such changes and additions take effect from the moment of publication, unless otherwise provided by the changes/additions to these Rules.
9.3. In the event of a situation that allows for ambiguous interpretation of these Rules, any disputed issues and/or issues not regulated by these Rules, the final decision is made by the Company. Violation of the Rules of the Promotion or refusal to comply with these Rules deprives the Participant of the opportunity to claim the Reward provided by the current Rules.
9.4. All results of the Promotion are final and not subject to appeal.
9.5. These Rules in no way violate the rights and freedoms of the Participants of the Promotion.
